Why do you shout out loud for suicide prevention?
Personally, my family (like many), has been impacted by the devastating impacts of suicide. My brother, Dickie, had a long, serious mental health struggle for almost 5 decades. He struggled to get adequate support, care and compassion during his life, before dying by suicide at age 49. This is personal for me and my family- ensuring folks living with mental health concerns can get comprehensive mental health care and access to additional mental wellness supports can help save others from a similar story of devastating loss.
